Sustainable Design Highlights:

Xenex has been designed with respect for the environment and to enhance occupant well-being. Features include Low E thermal windows, ENERGY STAR appliances, low flow bathroom fixtures, parkade motion sensor lighting.

The energy savings goal is to reduce consumption by increasing user awareness. Each resident pays only for energy that they use, resulting in fair cost allocation.

Enerpro iEMS:

The following types of energy are metered in each suite:

  • Heating energy (kWh)
  • Cooling energy (kWh)
  • Domestic Hot Water consumption (US gal)*
  • Electricity (kWh)

Boiler room monitoring and optimization system, continuously monitors system operation and adjusts parameters to optimize its performance.

The Strata benefits from buying electrical energy in bulk.
